Hosting that explains itself
We are a small team running real hosting for real customers. We are building Hostgray because getting a website online is still harder than it should be, and because the hosting industry has a habit of overpromising.
What we are building
Hostgray is managed hosting for small businesses, agencies and developers, with a focus on New Zealand and Pakistan. We run the servers, handle the dull parts, and explain what we are doing in words that make sense.
We are deliberately not claiming to be the biggest, the fastest or the cheapest. We are claiming to be straight with you: honest prices, honest limits, and a person who answers when something breaks.
We are still building parts of the platform — self-serve billing and sign-up are being finished now. Until they are ready, you deal with us directly, which we think is a reasonable trade.
What we stand for
Plain language
No jargon walls and no invented numbers. If something is not built yet, we say so instead of dressing it up.
Real people
You reach a person who can actually fix the problem, in New Zealand and Pakistan business hours.
No lock-in
Your files, your database, your domain. Take them with you whenever you like, without a fight.
Prices that stay put
The price you sign up at is the price you keep. If that ever has to change, we tell you well in advance.
